Concept 3000 Modem IC
This cable allows for a Modem to be connected to a Concept 3000 / Access 4000 Control
Module. When connected, the modem can be used for remote connection to PCDirect
Upload/Download software. This may be necessary when the on-board modem is being used
for reporting in EarthNet direct line format, or when a faster connection speed is required.
Before the Modem cable can be used, one of the Concept 3000 UART board options must be
fitted to the Control Module: 993065, 993066 or 993068 (Single, Dual and Four Port UART
respectively). If fitting the UART board follow the installation instructions carefully, ensuring
that the Control Module power and battery are disconnected before the UART is fitted.
