The GSM Modem is used in conjuction with Model 3000/Access 4000 systems to provide a pathway for alarm transmissions via the GSM network and to provide SMS control functions and SMS reporting. Connection is via the RS232 cable (included) to an available UART port (4port UART 993068; 2port UART 9906066; 1port UART 996065) - not included.
