Learn Mode DS926 Ceiling Mount PIR Sensor
The DS926 design is based on the thermodynamic principle that all objects emit infrared energy; that is, the warmer the object, the more infrared energy it emits. By using two balanced sensing elements of opposite polarity (dual elements), the unit detects change in infrared energy that occurs when a target passes through its coverage pattern.
The coverage pattern consists of 30 sensor fingers in a 360° circular pattern, grouped by opposite polarity into pairs or zones for target detection.
