The ITI® Learn Mode™ Sound Sensor consists of an audio discriminator and an ITI transmitter built into the same unit.

The Sound Sensor is designed to respond only to the frequencies generated by breaking glass, 1/16" to 1/4" thick, as well as tempered glass.

The sensor is powered by a 3.5 VDC Lithium battery, designed to last about 5 to 8 years.
