Advance cti
The Advance cti is used to convert c-bus data
into DTMF tone instructions that can be relayed
onto Advance DR4+ receivers.
Each adapter is designed to drive up to sixteen
telemetry receivers over a two core Drop Wire
10 cable using the DTMF signalling technique.
One Advance cti adapter is required for each
multiplexer on the c-bus wishing to employ this
alternative signalling method.
This method of telemetry is robust and is used in
preference to c-bus where a large number of
receivers are required, or where cabling
distances exceed the 1.5K maximum cable length
for c-bus networks. Drop wire cabling runs can be
wired in star or looped configurations, the length
of a single star leg can be 1K. (3.5K if the line
power adapter enhancement is employed).
