Attender 151 Security System
The CS-151 Security Terminal features a forty-eight (48) character Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which prompts the user through each operating step in easy to understand words and phrases. The user interacts with the Security Terminal in much the same way as most 24 hour bank teller machines, by responding to prompts using three (3) soft feature keys. A menu (scroll) key provides additional non-mandatory choices. The LCD screen, soft features keys and menu scroll key, replace the awkward and confusing words printed on ordinary control station touch-pads. The user is guided through each step of operation and is asked to enter his/her authorization code when required. In addition to the soft keys and menu key, three color coded emergency keys labeled "A" "B" and "C" are provided for activation (press and hold for three seconds) of the control panel auxiliary and emergency alarms.
For visibility and convenience, the Security Terminal features electro-iluminescent (EL) back-lighthing of the LCD and provides adjustable touch-pad lighting for standby and active conditions. The standby condition may be used as a continuous night-light. The active condition illuminates on the first key press and may be programmed to light on entry/exit delay, AC power failure, and alarms.
