Accenta 8 Home Security Installation
Accenta 8 is a range of microprocessor based, intruder alarm control systems designed to comply with the installation requirements of BS4737 1986/87.
The system is controlled by a Central Processing Unit (CPU) which is available in either a policarbonate or steel case. The CPU contains the transformer, battery, power supply, sounder/strobe circuitry and 6 digital output ports for use with a wire-in digital communicator, Red Care STU or dialer.
The system is operated by Remote Keypad (RKP). Up to 4 RKPs may be fitted to the system, each contain 12 miniature LED status indicators, a 15 button keypad array and a built in personal attack facility. The numerical keys 0-9 are illuminated to assist with night time operation or where the RKP is installed in an area of poor visibility.
All Accenta products bear the CE mark (93/68/EEC) which is your assurance that they have been designed and tested to conform to the EC, EMC Directive (89/336/EEC) and the Low Voltage Directive (73/23/EEC).
Please read through this manual and the Operating instructions carefully before beginning any planning or installation work, checking that you fully understand every function of the alarm system and its operation.
