AJ200 Home Security Installation
The AJ200 Burglar Alarm System you have purchased will provdie years of protection for you home and your family provided you take care to install the alarm system correctly.
To ensure a trouble-free installation it is important to read the complete installation manual carefully before starting, and to follow each section carefully.
1. The control Panel
The AJ200 control panel is the brains of the system providing 2x Detector zones, 1x Time adjustable entry/exit zone, 1x Personal attack circuit and 4 anti-tamper circuits. the unis is key operated.
2. The Detectors
Included in the kit is one passive infra-red detector, this operates by detecting infra-red changes in the field of detection, therefore when situated correctly provides protection against unauthorised entry to an entire area, i.e. Living Room or Hall.
3. The External Bell Box
Once assembled the rustproof external bell-box houses the 115db maxisiren. To prevent someone deactivating the siren, the front and back temper-switch is provided (attached to RSCB), this means the siren will sound if either the front cover is removed or the whole assembly is pullled off the wall - even when the control panel is switched off. The rechargeable self-contained siren module (RSCB) monitors the power from the control panel to the siren, if the power is cut or interrupter the RSCB will sound the siren, and keep it running from its own internal power source, recharged automatically from the control panel.
